Turun Kauppaopetussäätiö Foundation awards grants for doctoral and post doc research in business sciences and economics.  Financial support is available for doctoral researchers and post docs carrying out research at an educational institution in Turku.  The maximum amount for doctoral studies is 25.500 EUR and for postdoctoral research 30.000 EUR.

The application form is filled out digitally. Please fill out the form carefully

• All fields must be completed in full; referring to appendices is not sufficient.
• The same application form is used by all applicants, both private individuals and groups.
• An applicant applying on behalf of a work group must be the leader of the group or person responsible for the group. The members of the work group must be named in the grant application.
• If the grant will only apply to one member of the work group, this member should apply for the grant under their own name.
• Turun Kauppaopetussäätiö must be informed immediately of any other funding that is received while the grant application is being processed.

• A grant can be awarded only twice for the same research.

The following appendices are mandatory. Please attach them to the application in .pdf format

• A one-page abstract of the research plan, including justification of the significance of the research, the implementation schedule, and the funding plan.
• A full research plan.
• A resumé or CV that includes a list of publications.

Recommendations

• A maximum of 2 recommendations should be provided as part of the application. Recommendations will be collected automatically using the grant system by sending a request to the recommending party.

The application and appendices must be submitted via this grant system by the end of the application period. Applications that arrive after this time will not be considered.

Grants are not awarded for covering conference expenses this autumn, but the Foundation will open the application period for travel grants in the beginning of year 2026.
